Compact Wide-Angle Scanning Multibeam Antenna Array for V2X Communications

This letter presents a wide-angle scanning multibeam planar inverted-E antenna (PIEA) array for vehicle-to-everything communication. The compact four-element PIEA is designed with 0.3λo spacing, which achieves 90$^{\circ}$ when 1350 1.12λ0 0.036λ0, while overall including BM, 2.731λ0 2.2λ0 0.046 λ0. first time angles ±87$^{\circ}$. design can be scaled as an millimeter-wave applications.
